WOMAG Systems has supplied and installed a comprehensive suite of weighing equipment and integrated traceability solutions at HG Walter’s the new production facility.
Founded in 1972, premium butcher, HG Walter, has grown from a traditional family butcher’s shop into one of the UK’s most respected suppliers of high-quality meat, serving leading chefs, restaurants, and retailers across the country. As part of its continued expansion, the company has invested in a larger production facility designed to support increasing demand, while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and food safety.
WOMAG Systems has provided a fully integrated weighing infrastructure across the new site. The project included the installation of multiple precision weighing solutions tailored to the operational needs of its meat processing and distribution environment.
Central to the installation is WOMAG’s OCM-PRO weighing system, designed to deliver accurate, high-speed weighing and operational data capture throughout the facility. The system forms part of a wider digital ecosystem that integrates seamlessly with WOMAG’s full traceability software platform, enabling HG Walter to monitor product weights, batch data, and production information in real time.
Alongside the OCM-PRO system, WOMAG supplied a complete range of specialist industrial weighing equipment across the factory floor. This includes heavy-duty floor scales for handling bulk materials and pallets, overhead monorail scales for suspended loads during processing and movement of large cuts, and bin weighing systems for accurate measurement of ingredients, trim, plus product batches throughout the production process.
