Product Information

Features:

  • Unparalleled Precision: Ranger 7000 standard models have an extremely precise display resolution up to 75,000d (7,500d certified). This incredible resolution can only be outdone by the Ranger 7000 high resolution models which offer a maximum 350,000d (35,000d certified) resolution.
  • Versatile Applications: With 10 advanced application modes, including formulation, sieve analysis, and density determination, this scale is adaptable to a wide range of tasks. Whether you're working in manufacturing, quality control, or research, the Ranger 7000 has the capabilities you need.
  • Robust Construction: Built to withstand harsh industrial environments, the Ranger 7000 features a durable metal housing and IP54 rating for protection against dust and water. This ensures reliable performance even in challenging conditions.
  • User-Friendly Interface: The SmarText 2.0 software and large, backlit display make operation simple and intuitive, minimising training time. This user-friendly design empowers operators to get up and running quickly, enhancing productivity.
  • Advanced Connectivity: Connect to external devices and systems with options like RS232, USB, Ethernet, and Discrete I/O. This flexibility allows for seamless integration into existing workflows and data management systems.
  • Legal for Trade: Certified for legal-for-trade weighing, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This certification is essential for industries that require precise and verifiable measurements.
  • Fast Stabilization: Results are ready in just one second, improving efficiency and productivity. This rapid response time helps to streamline workflows and reduce waiting times.
  • Large Memory: Store up to 300 weighing, counting, and filling records, and 30 formulation and sieve analysis records. This ample storage capacity ensures that you can easily track and analyze your weighing data.
  • Modular Design: Customise your scale with options like a weigh-below hook, tower mount, and second platform. This modularity allows you to tailor the Ranger 7000 to your specific needs and workspace requirements.
  • User Management: Protect sensitive data with three levels of user access and password protection. This security feature helps to prevent unauthorised access and maintain data integrity.
  • Unique Features: Check-weighing lights with selectable operation and audible signal settings, several selectable operating languages, selectable environmental and auto-print settings, stability indicator, overload/underload indicators, selectable brightness settings.

Application Modes:

  • Weighing - Determine the weight of items in the selected unit of measure.
  • Parts Counting with Auto Optimization - Count samples of uniform weight. Advanced auto - optimization software recalculates the average piece weight as the overall weight increases.
  • Percent Weighing - Measure the weight of a sample displayed as a percentage of a pre-established Reference Weight.
  • Advanced Check-weighing - Compare the weight/count of a sample against
target limits. Connect with Discrete I/O option kit for external check lights.
  • Animal/Dynamic Weighing - Used to weigh an unstable load due to environmental factors. Scale takes an average of weights over a period
of time or can use Display Hold to lock the last stable weight on the display.
  • Filling - Fill a container to a target weight. Progress bar displays filling status. Connect with Discrete I/O option kit for auto-filling system.
  • Formulation - For compounding and recipe making. Available “compensation mode” which enables recalculation in case component added is outside the tolerance.
  • Differential Weighing - Calculate the difference between sample weights and
    initial weights.
  • Density Determination - Determine density of solids. With the weigh below hook, it’s possible to perform specific gravity tests for objects that cannot be easily placed on the weighing pan.
  • Sieve Analysis - A practice or procedure used to assess the particle size distribution (also called gradation) of a granular material.

Compliance:

  • Metrology: EN 45501 (T8420), OIML R76-1 (R76/2006-NL1-14.19), (Class II, nmax 35000; Class III, nmax 7500)
  • Product Safety: EN 60950-1, IEC 60950-1
  • Electromagnetic Compatibility: EN 61326-1, IEC 61326-1 (emissions Class B, immunity Industrial requirements)
  • Other: WEEE/ROHS
