The Explorer Precision balance series delivers exceptional accuracy and intelligent automation for pharmaceutical, chemical, quality control, and research laboratories. With readability from 1mg to 0.1g and capacities up to 12.2kg, the EXP Precision range combines advanced features with regulatory compliance capabilities to meet the demands of modern laboratory workflows.

Two Distinct Series for Different Requirements

Precision Series (1mg models): Features motorised leveling, enhanced automatic doors with anti-pinch safety protection, anti-static glass draftshield, built-in ionizer, sample spotlight, and two touchless sensors. AISI 316 stainless steel weighing pan (130mm × 130mm). Ideal for applications requiring sub-milligram accuracy with intelligent automation.

High Capacity Series (0.01g and 0.1g models): IP54-rated base construction with AISI 304 stainless steel weighing pan (201mm × 178mm), integral weigh-below hook for density determination, three ambient sensors, two touchless sensors, and terminal status light. Optional rechargeable Li-ion battery (14.4V, 2600 mAh) provides cordless operation. Engineered for larger samples and rugged environments.

Intelligent Automation

Seamless setup with motorized leveling (1mg models) eliminates manual adjustment and ensures measurement accuracy. Enhanced automatic doors with anti-pinch safety protection respond to touchless sensors for hands-free operation, preventing sample contamination. Built-in ionizer (1mg models) neutralises static charges that compromise precision weighing.

Premium User Interface

A 7-inch TFT colour touchscreen (16.7M colours) with glass overlay and detachable terminal provides intuitive control and flexible positioning. Chemical-resistant construction protects the display in demanding laboratory environments, whilst customisable status lights offer at-a-glance confirmation of balance state.

Comprehensive Application Suite

Fifteen built-in application modes support diverse laboratory requirements: basic weighing, parts counting, check counting, percent weighing, check weighing, dynamic weighing, totalization, formulation, differential weighing, density determination, peak hold, pipette adjustment (precision models only), statistical quality control (SQC), fill weight variation, and flow rate control. Application sample libraries accommodate up to 3,000 entries for rapid method recall.

Regulatory Compliance and Data Integrity

Meet pharmaceutical and quality system requirements with a 4-level user management system, password protection, and internal system log capacity of 100,000 entries. Time synchronization via NTP (Network Time Protocol) confirms data traceability to satisfy 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11, and ISO 17025 documentation standards. EC Type Approved models available for legal-for-trade applications.

Advanced Connectivity

Straightforward integration to Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) via multiple communication ports: 2× USB Host (Type A), USB Device (Type B), USB Device (Type C), Ethernet (RJ45), and RS232. Support for HID (Human Interface Device) connection enables driverless data transfer to computers without software installation. Optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongles provide wireless connectivity.
