The relay outputs are rated at Ui: 18V, Pi: 1.75W, and In: 70mA. A dedicated intrinsically safe power supply terminal (6V, 300mA max) simplifies connection to ATEX-rated devices or push-button panels, such as the EXPHBN model, even from a safe area, eliminating the need for additional protection barriers.
• Analog Output: An optional intrinsically safe analog output is programmable for 0-10Vdc, 0-20mA, or 4-20mA signals. Direct transmission to a safe area is possible using the PFANOUTEX intrinsically safe protective barrier (specifically for 0-20mA or 4-20mA configurations).
• RS485 Serial Communication: Two optional intrinsically safe RS485 serial ports facilitate communication with repeaters and other devices. The PFB485EX protective barrier allows direct data transmission to a safe area.
