The Dibal LP-5000 is a sophisticated weigh-labeling system designed to streamline production processes and ensure accurate, compliant labeling. This system offers a wide range of outstanding functions, including the ability to label fixed, variable weight, or amount products, and features a dedicated checkweigher mode with a filling display for real-time monitoring. User-level access to settings and functions ensures security and tailored operation. The LP-5000 simplifies job management with comprehensive, easily editable job information for quick on-screen adjustments, including client, batch, price, tare, dates, traceability, and label format details.

Flexible Labeling and Traceability Features

The LP-5000 includes a powerful graphic label designer, enabling users to create and edit custom label formats directly on the equipment. It supports various tare options, including fixed, glaze percentage, and accumulative tares, and provides generic traceability information on labels. The system offers advanced label management for totals, supporting up to three levels for easy editing and reprinting. Multilingual text printing, custom print fonts (including TTF), and easy loading and printing of logos and images enhance label customisation. The system also features a USB interface for backups, logo uploads, and data import/export. With configuration and printing of most one- and two-dimensional barcodes and compliance with EU regulation 1169/2011 on food labeling information, the LP-5000 ensures accurate and compliant labeling.

Precision Weighing and High-Performance Printing

The LP-5000 offers optional precision weighing capabilities with connection to one or two weighing platforms, each supporting up to 16 load cells with metrological verification. It provides a wide range of weighing ranges and accuracy options, including multi-range, mono-range, and multi-interval modes. The integrated labeling system supports direct thermal (DT) printing, with an optional thermal transfer (TT) ribbon system. The printer head, a 4” long-life model with history control, offers 8 dots/mm resolution and a printing speed of up to 250 mm/s. A movable paper sensor accommodates various label widths and types, and printer usage control facilitates predictive maintenance. The system supports labels from W30 x L30 mm to W100 x L500 mm, with options for paper, polypropylene, and perforated cardboard labels.

Robust Construction and Advanced Connectivity

Constructed from durable AISI 304L stainless steel, anodised aluminium, and textured ABS, the LP-5000 is designed for longevity in demanding environments. The console is made from robust ABS plastic, and all screws, roller material tractors, and shafts are stainless steel. The system features a 10.1” flat TFT touch screen (optional 15” resistive TFT) for intuitive operation. Connectivity options include TCP/IP Ethernet, RS-232, and USB ports, with optional Wi-Fi. The system can be integrated with weighing platforms, other LP-5000 units, and printers with ZPL interface for centralised control and data management. It also allows for the integration of products registered in previous machine families and the sending of weighing and level totals from the LP-5000 to the DIS for centralized data.
